Claudecademy ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website claudecademy.io. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. We keep things simple because your privacy matters and legalese helps nobody.

What We Collect

We collect very little data. Here is exactly what we gather and why:

• Email address -- If you sign up for our mailing list or lead magnet through the on-site form, we collect your email address. That is the only piece of personal information we ask for directly.
• Analytics data -- We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics tool. Plausible collects aggregate data like page views, referral sources, and general location (country level). It does not track individual visitors, use cookies, or collect personal information.

What We Do Not Collect

• Payment information -- All purchases are processed through Gumroad. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card number, billing details, or payment credentials. Gumroad handles all payment processing. For details on how Gumroad handles your payment data, refer to Gumroad's privacy policy.
• Tracking cookies -- We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Plausible Analytics is entirely cookie-free. You will not see cookie consent banners on our site because there are no cookies to consent to.

How We Use Your Email

If you give us your email address, we may use it to:

• Send you the resource you signed up for (e.g., the Claude Code Workflow Cheatsheet)
• Notify you about course updates, new modules, or content improvements
• Send occasional marketing emails about Claudecademy products and launch pricing

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time with one click. We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties.

Third-Party Services

We use a small number of third-party services to operate Claudecademy:

• Gumroad -- Payment processing and digital product delivery. Gumroad processes transactions and delivers your purchase. Their privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data.
• Plausible Analytics -- Privacy-friendly website analytics. No cookies, no personal data collection, fully GDPR compliant by design.

That is it. We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, retargeting networks, or any other tracking services.

Data Retention

We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our mailing list. If you unsubscribe, your email address is removed from our active mailing list. You can also request complete deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Plausible Analytics data is aggregated and does not contain personally identifiable information, so there is nothing to delete on that front.

Your Rights

Regardless of where you live, we believe you should have control over your data. You have the right to:

• Access -- Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
• Correction -- Ask us to update or correct your information.
• Deletion -- Request that we delete your personal data entirely.
• Portability -- Receive your data in a standard, machine-readable format.
• Opt out -- Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

GDPR Compliance

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

You may withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing from our emails or contacting us directly. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

We do not sell your personal information. We have never sold personal information and have no plans to do so.

Claudecademy is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we will notify subscribers via email. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
